Mathematics work booklets

You can download these work booklets and use for independent study. Each booklet covers a particular area of mathematics and all follow a similar structure. In each subsection you firstly look over some theory and then there are some examples to go through. Each subsection ends with some practice questions to ensure that you have understood the theory and can apply it. Full solutions to all questions are provided at the end of each booklet.

These booklets have been used at Brunel University in small group workshops with undergraduate students. Students have found that working through the booklets has helped them to develop skills in the topic being covered and to build confidence in the area of mathematics.
