Statistical analysis using SPSS

You can do some very sophisticated procedures in SPSS. It is most likely that you will want to generate descriptive statistics, such as:

You may wish to undertake Inferential statistics, such as:

SPSS Viewer

Note that the results of analysis are presented in the SPSS Viewer . If you want to save this output you must File > Save as and enter a "filename".spo e.g. efficiencystats.spo (you can then just File > Save the output as necessary).

You must save both the data editor (i.e. variable information and data entered) and output (SPSS viewer) separately.

Tables/Charts/Graphs

The tables of results, charts and graphs can be edited and copied into (for example) Word documents.
